Location Narrative	Ephedra californica stand on hilly slopes. Some patches of Ericameria linearifolia and scattered throughout but Ephedra californica clearly dominates. Herbaceous layer has mixed Poa secunda and non-native grasses and forbs throughout. Some scattered natives forbs ( Amsinckia and Eremalche) in bloom.
